5 Things Your Boudoir Photographer Wants you to know

As a Las Vegas Boudoir Photographer, I am a passionate about helping people find their voice & confidence. And to feel empowered again in their bodies! So today I’m writing “5 Things Your Boudoir Photographer Wants You to Know”…

1. You're allowed to take up space

Physically, emotionally, mentally. I don't care what size you are, as long as you're in a happy or neutral place with your body. I do not edit size. So if you need time to get to that happy/neutral place with your body, I can wait. I have had clients come in crying because the body dysmorphia was out in full force that day. It’s so common, and one of the reasons I love boudoir photography. I am here for you, and I promise we'll have an amazing time together.

2. Everybody has nipples and body hair

They're gonna slip out, I'm probably gonna be jealous because I have the world's smallest nips. But it’s a-okay to have nip slips at your boudoir session. Also, groom your body hair to your liking…whether that’s a full wax or grown-out. There is no standard. This is YOUR session.

3. Zits happen

Your makeup artist will cover most of it, but if you accidentally rub off part of your makeup, I'm really good at photoshop. And yes, butt zits are normal.

4. You don't have to apologize here

I promise it's okay if you need to pee, or if you need help putting on lingerie, or if you need me to show you the pose a couple more times. You can leave the apologies at the door because I’m here to help you 100%.

5. The weirder it feels, the hotter it looks

Yes, you will be doing a bit of yoga during this session, and you might be thinking about how weird you look, but I promise I'm gonna be shouting "yes bish" from behind the camera. Sometimes the funniest feeling poses are the ones that look so good in camera.

I hope these “5 Things Your Boudoir Photographer Wants You to Know” are helpful! I can’t wait to see you in the studio.
